All ESAs are completed in accordance with the associated ASTM Standard Practice (e.g., E1527, E1903, and E2247) plus client-specified requirements (e.g., HUD MAP Chapter 9/LEAN Chapter 7, Fannie Mae DUS Section X, and Freddie Mac NS/SG Chapter 14). In-house Environmental Professionals (EPs) that are appropriately certified and typically complete all site visits and other fieldwork. Having EPs in the field allows issues to be readily identified and reported to the client in real time. When practical, remedies or advanced investigation can be initiated before the project conclusion.
Appropriately certified professionals complete surveys and risk assessments using ASTM E2356, Second Edition- HUD Guidelines for the Evaluation and Control of Lead-Based Paint Hazards Chapters 5 and 7, and ANSI/AARST- MAMF in compliance with NESHAP, OSHA 1910 et.al, HUD – MAP/LEAN, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac Guidelines and state/local requirements, as needed. Whenever possible, services are completed concurrently with minimum disruption to occupants.
Historical and Cultural Resources, Critical Habitat, and Endangered Species Review (36 CFR 800.4 and Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act); Vapor Encroachment (ASTM E 2600); Noise Assessments (HUD Noise Guidebook/Online Calculator/ANSI On-Site Measurement Standards); Acceptable Separation Distance Analyses (HUD Guidebook and Online DNL/Barrier Calculator); Risk-Based Corrective Action (ASTM E2081); and Wetlands Identification (Maps/USACOE/Regional Supplements). Business Environmental Risk Assessment, Peer Review, and Remedial Project Oversight (Compliance With Industry Standards, Regulatory Requirements, and Cost-Effectiveness).
